Same.... just had an Outlander and watched the screen disappear after 5 or ten seconds

This is deja vu. I have been saying this for quite some time. Not all dealers have the knowledge to do it.

I have sent an email to Mitsubishi regarding this hopefully we will get some sort of resolve of why it is not on Mitsubishis agenda.

Many thanks and good luck.

Why a manufacturer in such a competiitive industry would aggrevate their customers so unecessarily is surprising.

Had my 60K service last Thursday and mentioned it to the service manager at Agostino and they are very well aware of it but did not mention a fix.

I also mentioned it after they asked was there anything that they should look at for my 30k service. They said they can't.
So I said .....can you remove the nag screen .....can you remove the nag screen .....can you remove the nag screen ......can you remove the nag screen.

They didn't even smile!!!!!

I seriously do not understand why the firmware from the Outlander's MMCS/MMEC cannot be applied to the Pajero/Pajero Sport/Triton. Or even, why were different firmwares used.

Have to be the same Kenwood head unit .....but I'm sure there is a way into settings via a button sequence that after market Kenwood units have .....like holding the volume and boot up to enter settings. There must be a way to bios for this.
