    Remove 3rd row seats?

Noob question from a noob member, so apologies if this has been asked and answered before. I did try a search but no luck.

Looking at picking up a Pajero Sport Exceed at EOFY.
Seems they don't sell 5-seaters anymore, unless it's the GLX.
Would much prefer the extra boot space (for drawers, hard wired compressor, etc) and a cargo blind rather than the last 2 seats.

Anyone removed the 3rd row seats from their 7-seaters?

    Cheers!

I was thinking the same. When I asked the dealer if the rear seats could come out, he did say yes but then the car would not comply to standards. Something to do with it has 7 seats stamped on the plate but I still think who's going to know Lol

The third row of seats are regarded as temporary as they can be unclipped. You do not have to unbolt them. My third row of seats have been in storage for over a year. Feel free to remove them if you don't need them.

I have removed my third row as they are just a waste of space. I then made a removable and openable false flor to go in the space. It is very easy to remove the floor and reinstall the seats. Which is what I will do if and when I get rid of the PS. End result being loads of extra space and a fair reduction in weight as the rear seats are quite heavy.
