    roof cages

    can anyone show e pictures of how they have fitted there roof cages??

    i really want one but for the life in me i cant work out the best way to mount it. will probably fab one myself for my shorty as i need a good welding project but need to work out the mounting brackets

    I just have a cheap steel type basket, on cross bars tied down by u-mounts.

    I think others fix more prominant cages/trays to the factory rails, or otherwise need to remove them but requires getting in under the interior head liner to do so.

      i was thinking about attaching it to the roof bars but wanted it a bit further forward

        I think if you want it projected more forward, you're probably going to need a track type mounting system. I could be wrong though.
