TBH, the biggest hassle would be the bolts, little bit of radiator shroud issues, and the waste of $'s that could go towards sliders
If I agreed with you, then we would both be wrong

the possibility of needing to lengthen the steering column and both gear sticks. longer brake lines. maybe wiring stretching issues there is a long list specially if you just want it for wank factor

Ripped front of the motor apart and replaced water pump, timing belts and tensioners. Not as difficult as I thought, however fitting the tension springs aren't a fun job

Btw this pic was taken before removal

Been a busy weekend for the Pajero!

Fitted up 2nd Gen front calipers I picked up dirt cheap. A 'test' around the block a few times today, the change isn't really noticeable it's almost impossible to lock up the wheels even doing approx 80km/h. It's almost as if there isn't enough vac booster assist.

Somethings not right, the difference is noticable, are the calipers in good condition?

Yes, they were in good nick from a clean car. The pads are barely used with almost all 'meat' left on them, the slides and rubber parts etc are all good condition.

Obviously I've bled the system etc. I was expecting a big increase in braking, but I can't really notice the difference

Fitted up some rear patrol springs, removed rear swaybar and put gen2 lower trailing arms in with new bushes. Plus side is clearance and flexing, but it's now too high when sitting flat in the back

Baker, removed them and cut them down half. There is still about 5mm droop left at ride height before droop bump stop. I'm open to suggestions, but t/bars are maxed

Gen2 UCA swap, BJ flip and then reindex the bars, couple of hundred dollars max

Ok, sounds like the plan. I assume this will give more down travel, would you happen to know how much? Hoping at least an inch to help level out the back.

what height do you have between the bottom of your rim and the guard? I have 800mm with a 15" rim
