Boost gauge suggestions/comments and gauge pods

Hey guys and girls, I was thinking of (eventually) installing a boost gauge in my NT and I figured while I was at it also putting in a volt meter and something else. My questions are, has anyone had any luck installing a triple gauge pod on the dash above the stereo? If so, what did you use? Also, what other gauge should I look at installing (oil temp, water temp, oil pressure or anything else)?

    Cheers.

Scangauge/Ultragauge will handle boost, volts, water temp, intake temp plus more. All OBDII readers should be able to pick up that data

I'm looking at something more permanent though. Plus I like the look of the Autometer Cobalt gauges, the colours are nearly a match for the dash board.

IMO a turbo diesel driver should be monitoring EGT & Boost, especially in off road or towing situations. In any engine oil pressure should getting more attention than just an off/on pressure switch. After that, a Auto Trans. temp, secondary water or oil temp guage, then probably battery volts.

You could go something like this http://www.consoles.com.au/Mitsubish...NS_deeplow.htm

The deep profile style and rather than A UHF hole they'll cut gauge holes for $7.50 each.

Otherwise you could custom make something for the dash.

Personally I've ordered an ultra gauge and will be mounting it do the dash where it's visible. Delivered to Perth (even since the dollar dropped) with a windscreen mount and $102, Lot cheaper and a lot more info is possible than 3x Autometer gauges.

I have a Scangauge, have been very happy with the setup & options (accurate speedo!!) It doesn't measure EGT or oil pressure though so am looking at putting some auxiliary gauges where the card holder slot currently lives in the lower dash. I have been having a long look at the Autron range, their triple gauges put a lot of information in a small package https://autron.evolveshop.com.au/epa...auge%22/Triple I like the fact that these can be programmed to alert at preset levels by changing background colour to catch the driver's attention.
