Chipit Support and dominator Mk 1 review

    Hi All

Just a quick review of chipit support and new domiator Mk1 chip.

My chip had some issues a few weeks ago not sure why but sent off to chip it in WA.

They looked at it and said there was a problem and we will replace the chip for you.

This morning the postman turns up with a box from chipit and in the box there it was the new Dominator MK1 chip. So off i went bonnet open chip in took less than 15 mins.

On the way to work it was like a dream the paj just goes smoother through all gears left some black Tyre marks at the light (not deliberate :-) ) while tcs was fighting to keep some traction to allow me to move forwards.

The chip is awesome power was on right through the rev range smooth and precise
like it knew what im going to tell it to do before i even think of it.

Any i recommend this new chip from the good blokes at chipit.

Robert is on the forum somewhere if its smooth power u want give him a call.

    Cheers

well after a few tanks of juice what a difference

now running a max tune and to my surprise

my driving usually results in about 500 ks a tank when the refuel light comes on

at the moment im at 560 ks and i still have a 1/4 tank left

          nonad valve body

Hi Pasniny ,sorry to hijack your thread but I could'nt help noticing you had a nomad valve body fitted .I am currently saving to have the same work done on my vehicle and would love to here your thoughts. I would especially like to know if the Paj still exhibits the same smooth gear changes or are they alot more harsh as a result? Did you have the temp gauge fitted as well and if you did were is it mounted? I think the gauge looks a little bit of an add on, I would be interested to know if there was an alternative style of gauge such as an A pillar pod style or something that could be mounted to look a little more factory. Also how do you find your torque convertor lock up apart from using it for the obvious are you using it on the road while towing etc?
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated cheers Davo.

Valve body is great i found that a trans relearn made it work a lot better

However when i got the dominator chip fitted last week it really brought out the valve body mod
Gear shifts are precise and on target

            Something shifts can be hard

Temp works well however i found out that to keep temp unde 100 degrees in summer i need 2 coolers

When towing i have to be in 4 th or tc locked up
As temps rise very quickly iver 100 degrees

Pod are available but limited in offering for pajero
