    o2 sensor

Hey all, just wanting to replace o2 sensor, read through some threads and just wondering what brand, where did you buy from and how much did it cost. Mine is 3.5l NM thanks for any help.

Its in the exhaust under the car on my V6 its near the gearbox, it kinda looks like a spark plug with black and white wires out of the end.

Same as spark plugs but mine are still sparking at 131K.

Can you test an O2 sensor????

Spoke to MM service today. The O2 sensor doesn't have a replace at time or km's.
                            Only replaced on failure.
Service manager said a rich running engine will cause the sensor to fail prematurely.
Also LPG is very hard on the sensor and this is the main cause of O2 sensor failure.

Basically he said with a healthy engine the O2 sensor should last a very long time. 200000km's plus.

                              Okay, $20.00 mystery solved.
I have just got back from Repco and they are having clearance on some products and the O2 sensor OZA116-M5 is one of them. RRP price is over $100.00 but they are selling it for $20.00. The bad news is they are almost sold out and the only place you could get it now is KELLYVILLE in NSW. Some places in SA might have it too. God I wish I could buy it over the internet.
