    HNM2 Code reader/clearer

I bought a HNM2 code clearing unit from Stahlcar in Yatal Qld via Ebay. My unit was delivered from Stahlcar in Auckland NZ. The unit read codes well but didn't clear all of them.. I contacted Stahlcar NZ about the unit not clearing all the codes and they sent me another unit. It was the same, so they offered me a full refund, which I chose not to take up. I kept the original unit because it did probably 90% of what I would expect it to do, and sent the other one back to NZ. Even before the second unit was received in NZ, I had a credit in my Paypal account to cover the cost of return postage. They have bent over backwards to try to help me with the problems. Service like this is rare these days and deserves mention.

I would love just one of the codes you claim to not be able to clear please.

i want to see if in fact what you are saying is true! Is there a reason you never state any?

I have also sent this in a PM

I don’t know if your trying to discredit the tool and it’s ability or your saying what I have said is wrong?

Can you please give me your codes so I can test them

I had solely purchased this tool in the hope to help people with dpf issue and it turns out it can do more but you don’t seem to think the same with out any evidence of this

Did you buy the tool to review it yourself? If so why are trying to highjack my thread on it and now start all these new threads on the same thing to flood the forum.

Seriously mate do you have some problem with what I try to offer the forum?

What the? it was you asked him to do so.

why make your own thread than try and take over both????????
Then abuse him for doing so.

              Simply stunning.

Instead of being confrontational, you could help to guide him to some resolution. Sharing the pajero love and all.

Good to see you are happy with the product Erad.

Fantastic you have got such good service from the supplier.

How would you compare it to a Scan Gauge, realising of course they are not directly comparable products?

Tossing up at the moment whether to look at ScanGauge or one of these.

                        It’s a scan tool not a gauge

It has far more capabilities than the scangauge or any of them

As you said they aren’t really comparable?

Pharb: The HNM2 measures about 150 mm x 110 mm x 30 (I don't have access to it at present), whilst the Scangauge measures about 110 mm x 30 x 30, and comfortably fits on the dashboard. The HNM2 is definitely a hand held unit only. If I was in the market for a unit now< if old give serious consideration to the Untragauge unit (see the comments in Gen 4.2 above). The Ultragauge has an audible alarm which the Scangauge lacks, and it can display upto 8 parameters compared to the Scangauge's 4 parameters.
