    Speed Chime 1988 Pajero

    Hi all,

Very new to the pajero world. Just bought my first one which is a 1988 LWB 2.5 TD.

I have a question about the speed chime (sorry if this has been covered before). Does anyone know how to get rid of this chime? If someone has a thread on this could you please direct me too that would be great.

Attached is a photo of my pajero.....only had it for 4 days!!

    Thanks!!

Remove main instrument cover some screws around the back as you carefully lift it up and off disconnect about five wiring loom connectors so you can get at a little silver box with a blue wire coming out of it disconnect the wire going to it and remove it, all philips head screws from memory. It is fairly straight forward. The little silver box is just attached on top of the main instrument gauges so it is sort of obvious.
