    Pickles NX GLS

    So started on the mods

First of all the dual battery system. I'm a Rotronics fan and have had them on my last few 4wd's. So can't get them anymore I believe but had a new Baintech dual battery system sitting in the garage for the last year so in that went. Decided to put the second battery in the rear seat well as I am over voltage drop and batteries only lasting a few years under the bonnet. Had an AGM 104 a/h in stock so made up a battery tray for it and run some wiring.
A few extra bits of wiring for another auxhillary power outlet and USB charger plus power to the Anderson plug near the towbar.

Interested in that Anderson plug, does it have an LED in it to show it has power. Also are there two words over the plug on the bumper, that's what it looks like on my screen. Good fun setting up a new toy. Brian.

Yep blue led in the Anderson plug. I always buy these ones as it is easy to see if there is a problem with power. I think the two words are a reflection of the plug

Love the tape, prevention is better then sitting in the middle of nowhere
Could try using some grease type stuff before taping.

Found another day to finish off electrics in the rear and more so some power outlets. Ended up getting one of these ..... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Car-Auto-.../231478853918? . I really didn't want to mount the unit as a whole so it was pulled apart and bits used in places that can be replaced easy enough. The 12 volt supply was pretty much put in the cup holder due to the Engel fridge cord length.
