Time will tell how much lower this tank sits that the OEM one. If its not much lower I can see me removing my LRA tank to get rid of some excess weight behind the rear axle line.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that's only 52L extra on nx 88L tank almost not worth waiting for

Better than jerry cans, any extra fuel you can carry safely and easily is worth it.

I can see me replacing the main tank on my NP to complement my 81L LRA tank.
            81+140 = 221L woohoo!
On second thoughts, I think 171L total with the factory and aux tank is plenty for where I need to go.....
            Cheers, Dan.

2 main reasons i want this are the weight in front of rear axle sye to ball weight of a van and less weight by having plastic replacement versus steel auxiliary

A poly 140l tank probably weighs more than the factory tank. My factory triton tank was so so light when I replaced it with a larger version

It's only 6 lt less than an LRA aux tank... for those of us with rear air
Chuck a 20 lt jerry up top and fuel capacity is right up there.
I carried 70 lt in jerries for my recent Simpson crossing, and I know where I would have preferred 52 of those litres to be

Like most accessories, if you use it then it's definitely worth it

The thought has crossed my mind about adding the 140L to my 60L. May well still happen this way as I need to swap rear coils anyways.... Over 2000km cruise range not towing sounds good to me

I to think that 140L poly tank is going to be heavy

Checked with ARB the 140 lt Frontier tank for the Bt 50 is 21kg. Not sure what the current 88lt tank would weigh.

That is quite reasonable for bigger tank

I reckon +52 total 140litres is about spot on for a pajero for a big trip. You might and ought to carry a jerry for redundancy though for remote places like the simpson.

Only concern is that it's slightly off centre on the drivers side. So one up with a belly full off juice it might look a bit drunk. Nothing a fridge full of beer can't help offset.
