    ARB tray: Proven battery fitment

    Hi all,

I am going to start compiling a list of known battery combinations that fit the ARB dual battery tray for the Gen 3s. I spent ages comparing measurements trying to work out what would fit and what wouldn’t, both length and height. If you can let me know what combinations you have in the same format as below, I can add them and hopefully make it a lot easier for others.
    Note:
    1. The front lip has been removed from the tray to allow for a larger front battery where noted
    2. The height includes terminals unless otherwise noted

    #1
    Crank: Optima D34 Yellowtop. 750CCA, 55Ah, 245L x 171W x 199H
    Aux: SSB HVT-70ZZD. 780CCA, 105Ah, 305L x 168W x 213H
Note: Crank at rear, aux at front, front lip removed

    #2
    Crank: Enirgi UMF115D26R. 750CCA, 85Ah, 257L x 172W x 220H
    Aux: SSB HVT-70ZZD. 780CCA, 105Ah, 305L x 168W x 213H
Note: Crank at rear, aux at front, front lip removed. This combination is a just fit! The front terminal of the crank battery just misses (or just touches, hard to tell) the sound proofing cladding on the underside of the bonnet. I would not go any higher than 220mm for this position.

    #3
    Crank: <Make> <Part number>. CCA, Ah, L x W x H
    Aux: <Make> <Part number>. CCA, Ah, L x W x H
Note: <position, front lip removed etcetc>

    Cheers
    Pete
