One other option to try if heavy braking doesn't completely fix it and before machining, is to remove the rotor, put it on the bench and use wire brush wheel on grinder / drill to clean both...

Sometimes they are clogged(this is what I had), and some other members have had the problem where the ball check valve is broken/not working problem.

On the Bilsteins, there is a grooved ring and circlip for 2 different locations on the shock body to set the lower...

That smacks of pickup blocked, fuel/injector pump trying to suck fuel from tank and pickup is blocked, creates a vacuum and sucks in anything unsecured...one of 2 options either the ding in the tank...

Technically the inlet manifold is drawing air from the egr....so the sensor that threw the code is most likely in the manifold and registered the air pressure differentiation as an air leak.

If it is indeed the engine mounts it may be the cause of both your symptoms...under load broken engine mount could be metal on metal or just causes a different sound under load as the engine torques...

Personally, unless the 4wd shop has their own machine and they know what they are doing it's very hit and miss.
My experience is that tyre shops only do toe and camber and dont do full 4 wheel...
