The light (and torque converter) only will go on once the transmission oil has reached operating temp. I think it's about 50 degrees. So you need to drive for a bit to get it warm.

A dyno tune will cost around $1500. Removal and clean of the intake, especially given how clogged yours most likely will be after that many kms, is usually about $700+. So i would say its reasonable....
