And it's a fiddly, messy job.

I replaced a split boot with an aftermarket boot. I did get it on eventually but I reckon the genuine boot would have been a much easier process.

There is some play in the butterfly shaft so perhaps the sharpish edge of the brass plate is snagging on the aluminium bore.

At least the throttle body is easy...

Have you done some YouTube research? There are heaps of bolt removal videos. Some brutal. Others more finesse.

The engine is not easy to turn over by 22mm socket on the crankshaft bolt. It gets to a certain point then gets stuck :(
