Yep my rears are more worn then the fronts at the moment, but that is due to me changing the front pads last time but not the rears as didn't need to change the rear pads last time.

As Scouter1 said they are factory recovery points on Gen4 anf Gen3 pajeros. However the the two at the rear are tow tie down points only.
