I ran mine thru the firewall via the grommet thats up high on the passenger side behind the battery and fuel filter, then down behind the passenger kickpanel and under the plastic door protector...

The Hema maps are all much higher scale stuff, mostly 1:250k and higher, which is fine when your touring caper york or the simpson.
If you were going to get the hema maps anyway, you might be better...

I have seen photos of an Arb backbone fitted to a pb/pc, but afaik it's only to work with the arb cages.
No increase in roof capacity and the headlining has to come down to fit it still

Keep an eye on voltages and if u can amps, I suspect that in summer the bcdc will overheat and reduce or stop charging in that position. When it starts to get hot the amps it outputs reduces.
