Yikes. I swapped my head unit out (base model not MMCS) and cost of adapters was $20. Only because I wanted to keep the stock plug it in the car, otherwise chop it off and cost would be $0.

You should get well over 800km to a tank so any more than that it's getting pretty low (The tank should be 88 litres)

If it really is at 1/4...

From what I understand auto is the average over the last maybe 4 hours? and manual is the average since it was last reset.

I just leave mine on auto (and average about 9.2 around town)
