I think...

Here's one. Unfortunately you can see my broken front bumper. I'm working on rebuilding a new one I got from a breaker. The silver lining is that I gain original bumper mounted spotlights. The tires...

Thanks. I've added fender flares since that picture was taken, currently riding on 32s but looking to finish a 60mm body lift and fit bigger flares for a 38 inch modification.

Naturally a 44 inch truck is harder on the drivetrain than a stock truck, but I haven't heard any stories that the Mitsubishis are worse than any other truck.

Flex is not a huge issue for the...

Looks good. Will be interesting to see how it stands up without a metal frame. One question though, why MDF rather than plywood? Seems to me the MDF is heavier, weaker and more susceptible to...

I'm not sure what gear ratios the 3.5 has, but up here we have 2.8TDIs on 38s and a few on 44s so I think you gear ratios will be fine. A bit high but fine basically. If you have higher ratios than...

I guess it depends on what Pajero you have. In my NL I pull the levers on the side of the seats, slide them all the way forward and then tilt the seatbacks back. The rear folding seats in the NL are...

If so, it's traveled a bit, because that trailer is in Iceland. :D Sturdy as anything, but heavy as hell, two men struggle to lift the front end to hook it up.

Thanks for the explanation. Mine is a GLS, I guess we only got the versions that had the blister fenders during 1998-2000. At least all 1998-2000 models here have blister fenders.

These Australian models are confusing me. From 1998 to 2000 we would only get the blister fender, gen 2.5, up here and I think 2000 was also the first year you could get a gen 3. So do you call a...

That sounds like the cv joint. It's a boring job to replace. You'll be replacing both cv joint boots on that side obviously, but you should also check the ball joints and other bushes to replace them...

I can't remember how much play there is supposed to be in the CV joints, but a torn cv joint boot does not necessarily mean the joints themselves are bad. Have you checked the wishbone bushings and...

You can actually get at least a 2 inch lift by putting in new springs or blocks under the springs and turning up the torsion bars in front. Mine has 40mm suspension lift. The important thing though...

I think you also need the ignition switch. Further the 3500 had a 40mm body lift, to make space for the bigger transmission. Not sure about the engine mounts, but I'm pretty sure it can be done.

I think the 91/92 is called something other than NL, NH perhaps? Anyway, they are mostly the same truck. I assume you have the 3.0L petrol engine?

Obviously the swap can be done. 4ePajero on the...

I think the required body lift is 40mm, to fit the larger gearbox. The main problem will probably be in moving over the electrics, you probably also need the ignition switch for the immobilizer to...

If I recall correctly, that's already there. At least I think it's the same in a gen 1 as it is in a gen 2. Look at the bar that stops the door opening wider than 90 degrees,...

It seems to me that owners of gen 2/2.5 2.8TDI and 3500 cars have another option. These cars came from the factory with body lift installed (40mm I think). Quite a few of them have then been lifted...
