    aouto tran oil cooler hoses size

    Hi All

    Does anyone that has upgraded or added additional auto tran cooler remember what size hoses are from factory?

    I can't find the tread where I asked the same question many moths ago, id like to install one before summer hits.

      Hi PradoEater, did you get to put in the Auto Trans cooler? If so, what brand & model did you go with? When towing, my Scanguage is showing 140c up hill. No alarms on dashboard or Go Slow. Might be faulty gauge. What temps are you getting?

        That alarms me, even if it doesn't alarm your car. Do you use manual mode when towing, or leave it in D?

        I advise you to have your transmission flushed. I'd say checked, but most transmission places say you can't check the fluid without dropping it, so just flush it. Not drain & add some more - flush all the old fluid out with new.

        I'd also ask your nearest Mitsubishi Service Manager what they have to say about your transmission reaching 140 degrees.

          I'm having the trans flushed in a few days. Always tow in man/sports mode. Double checked the codes for the ATF on Scanguage. They appear to be correct. I'm wanting to put in a bigger trans cooler irrespective of what happens. It's a puzzle to me.
