PB 2013 MY Challenger review

Well looky what we have here for a week. A brand spanker 2013 spec base 4x4. So we have this for a week to have a good look at and scope out the new changes on this model over the MY 2012 model. It's an auto which is good. We will do fuel consumption figures (towing/as is) and a little offroading later in the week. Photos and videos will be posted here and Challengerpoint (Facebook) over the week.

I see it has roof rails.. Is it optioned with airbags or diff lock?

No difflock on this one, standard on LS/XLS!
Side and curtain airbags.

Currently running up the Hume Hwy doing a fuel economy run. The rig is as above with the trusty Aussie Jays camper weighing in about 1.2 tonne with 2 people on board and gear. Current reading on average fuel consumption says 13.7. Who wants to take a stab at what we get?
The run is between Euroa and Wodonga.

Dunno the roads either, but based on experience mid to high 12's

Ok so we did 153 klms (actual off GPS) and loaded 19.40 ltrs. That gave us 12.68 ltrs/100klms. That was keeping on 100klms/hour.. Actual klms on speedo showed 154.7 and average fuel on display was 13.7.

Hi Greig, sorry but figure looks OK to me, used to get 13.5 to 14 towing the Coromal 526. Dont get it now but. Roads are pretty good thereabouts.
