    New Zealand

Back in March of 2000 six mates went over to New Zealand's Bay of Islands for a spot of game fishing. We stayed for five days on the boat and caught some fantastic fish.
Here are two videos of us fishing 180 mtrs down.
This first one of me catching a small cod.
The second a 57 kilo Hapuka by a mate.

Actually it was worse if you missed the bite, you would then have to wind up that bloody heavy sinker and braid all the way up. Where as if you caught a fish it's air bladder would inflate by half way up and basically float up to the top.

if you think thats hard try 400 to 500m bottom bouncing , serious thinking off an electric reel without it 2 to 4 drops and im nacked.
