I wouldn't be confident comparing these numbers. Not sure where they are measuring. BUT I am parked in front of my neighbours one right now and can tell you they look about the same inside.

Just looked at aulro.com (aussie rangerover owners forum) and found a post with actual dimensions.

Floor to roof at highest point 115cm
Back door to bottom of rear seats at floor level 100cm
Back door to top of rear seats (cargo blind height) 83cm
        Side to side width 110cm

Below is from NX brochure I found on google with dimensions.

Looks like they are pretty similar, i had hoped the paj would be bigger but i think we will manage
Build quality should be somewhat better at least
          Thanks Guys

My previous 4wd was a 2004 Disco 2. Biggest noticeable difference is the Paj is much, much noisier inside, both engine and road noise. The Disco has a wicked turbo lag which is less an issue with the auto but is ugly in the manual. I put in a variable vane turbo, purchased from UK, which made a huge difference.

well i wandered downstairs with a tape to check MY NX

heres what i got in mm

side to side (inside sills) 1380

wheel arch to wheel arch 1190

WheelArch floor -0 WA floor (without rearmost seat bracket) 1130

              height to roof 1095
              height to opening 1015
largest rectangle in the back door
              1070 W x 992h
second row seat base to back door 1000

seat top to rear ('normal' recline) 850

              Largest dog cage with seats back that a normal human can actually get in 1060 w x 850 L x 990 h

best of luck do your own measures.

PS I always wanted a disco or RR just never brave enough actually to own one ...and they don't come in manual any more...

Not sure how the disco 3rd row is located (if it even has one) but a huge plus for me when deciding on my NX was the fact that I could unlatch the 3rd row in seconds and remove it. Then this provides the large under floor storage bin. You'd be amazed at how much stuff you can put in there.
And, if I find I need to cart some rug rats around I just refit 3rd seat.

I chose between Pajero Sport & Pajero.

Sitting side by side in car yard looked about.

The back department of the Pajero & fact I can just grab 3rd row seat pull it out, was big decider for me.

If I fold 2nd row forward, enough room for my two kids 8 & 11 with matress to have a slumber party

Was one reason i brought that in lieu of a ute as i've always had utes.

                      Paj sport is not good
I rented one for 5 days for work in Roma qld in March

Banged my head every time I got in or out

                      Back area is tight too

                      Weird driving position

                      I’ll keep my 5 y o nx ...

Yup I found the same. Rented one for 2 weeks in tassie with the fam. Dont get me wrong it was nice to drive, but the rake of the windscreen and reduced cargo space put me off.
