    Current capacity of these connectors

So I bought some driving lights from Supercheap given they were going cheap. Apart from being way bigger than they need to be at 9" for LED's. They draw 3w x 32 per light, so 96w per light, so 8amps or 16a total.

My concern is that the power goes to one connector (pictured below), before being split to both lights. Pins in this connector are pretty small, and while I'm generally known to over do wire sizes and connectors to make sure they carry the current, this doesn't even seem to come close to handling 16a

Any thoughts on whether this will handle 16a continuously?

They're called Deutsch Connectors and I think you'll find those ones are rated to 25A.

Thanks. I was looking all over them for a brand name. I must be very conservative if that's what they handle. Appreciate the help

You’d need to actually measure the current draw, I doubt they’d draw that much.

I was tempted, but not going to bother. Just want to make sure the connections are up to the task. I'll check them for heat once they are installed and replace then if they're getting hot
