Good morning
We have a 2007 NS Auto Diesel Exceed with 220,000 kms that we can not shift into park.
The shift lever button has more tension whilst in Drive, then lessens when shifting from Drive to Neutral to Reverse where, once in Reverse is very floppy.
The shift lever button appears to operate normally in all other respects.
The vehicle drives and changes gears normally.
I have read occurrences where vehicles are unable to shift out of Park but this is the opposite of that.
Is it possible that there is a stretching, or worn-out component that the shift lever button actuates?
Thank you.
