New to 4x4's and first Pajero

    Hi All,

I'm an absolute newbie to 4x4's and after researching extensively for one, we settled on a NT Pajero. Hard to go past them, just great value for money compared to the competition. Plans are to use this as the family car for weekends away and to tow a camper trailer.

This forum was useful in that search, so registering and hope to contribute a little over time.

Only a couple of mods so far; a Rhino Rack SX platform and sunshade awning. Plan to fit a bullbar down the track and likely suspension thereafter to suit the weight.

I'll be looking at some driver training at some point too, to learn how to get more from the Pajero.

    Cheers,

Welcome Dan, great thinking about some driver training, I actually think it should be compulsory! You can either spend $400+ on a 1 day into course that covers the basics or join a club which offers training. Since you are in Melbourne why not look at the forum's host club, The Pajero Club of Victoria? At least you wil get vehicle specific training rather than a generic one size fits all training. Who knows you might even make some new friends and travelling companions.

Thanks, OJ. Great advice. I'll take a look at the Club info.
