WA to NSW far south Coast

We left Rockingham for good on 17th of July last year bound for Potato Point on the far south coast of NSW, via Cape Leveque, the Gibb River Road, the Tanami Road and The Murray River among other places. We're presently in Brisbane doing grandparent duties for no2 son and his wife who are expecting their second child in a couple of weeks.

The Pajero has been great, the only issues we have had in 20,000km have been 2 rear shocks, done on the atrocious Kalumbaru Road, and 2 of the Toyo AT2 tyres splitting on the inside and needing to be replaced.

The blog for the trip (so far) is here https://destinationpotatopoint.blogspot.com/2018/04/ hope you enjoy.

I see that you are heading to Potato Point via the direct route.... What a trip! This must whet your appetite for more touring. Hope you enjoy your retirement.

Yeah, a good chance to see what we wanted to see in WA, not sure we will get back that way. Hopefully we will be in Potato Point by September. Then it will be planning the next trip, probably Tassie.

Retirement is certainly going well so far
