03 NP Pajero stalls on cold start

Helloi have an 2003 3.5L V6 NP Pajero Exceed and it's having a bit of trouble starting cold, it fires but immediately stalls, putting my foot on the accelerator for about 30 seconds seems to do the trick and keep it from stalling but it runs at very low RPM's (about 400-500) once warmed up she runs sweet as like there is no problem.

Not too sure if relevant but last week i tried to start it, gave it a bit too many beans and the belt slipped off a seized idle pulley, that has now (and a couple more dodgy pulleys) been fixed but it still seems to be stalling when cold.

I certainly hope its nothing major.

Do an idle re-learn as a first step. If that fails the idle stepper motor needs replacing, they are only like $30 on ebay for a Chinese one. I replaced mine 2 years ago and still working.
