I have Pajero 2011 (6G74, 3.5L) here in UAE, middle east.
I changed my timing belt at around 289K and now the mileage is around 295k. I did this through outside agency and at the time of application of belt lot of confusion happened and after that a meeting was held by all mechanics and they installed.
After installation there was some vibration but no starting problem or acceleration problem.
Only once while i pushing accelerator the car died but did not stop and again on acceleration it was ok.
I checked with other mechanic and he told me that timing belt is more or less installed correctly.
Very recently I am hearing this grinding / echo noise coming when I accelerate from 0 to 60 km. It only comes when I start from 0Km and comes till 60Km speed and after that it goes.
Also yesterday temperature shoot up to 3/4th mark before last mark and then I stopped the car and after sometime started and it was normal to 1/2 mark.
Please advice regaridng the possible issues.
