    advice on first Pajero

hi guys, am looking to buy my first Pajero. I was looking at the NS, but after reading some posts on this site, I have decided to go for an NT. We have also purchased a forward fold camper, so I will be setting it up for towing. I found 1 on gumtree, but am unsure if its a good buy. any advice would be appreciated. Gumtree ad Ad ID 1176852355.
    cheers.

Looks a bit pricey, even allowing for extras (refer Redbook - add a few thousand $ to the private sale prices for a dealer car).

May have done heavy towing - check for evidence of brake controller, anderson plug, heavy rear springs, etc. If so, check the extra services have been done per handbook.

Check for rust (or repairs) at top inside of door frames/seals (esp. rear side doors) & that all recalls have been done (enter the VIN in the search page on MMAL's website).

Important to have full service history per the handbook + all the usual checks for prangs, underbody damage, etc.

Try to get the details of the previous owner (should be in the handbook if a one owner) & should be shown on the dealer's Schedule Form in the window. Give them a call to find out more about the car, why they sold & any issues, etc.

Be sure to get it inspected by someone who knows these cars well.

Don't get me wrong - it may be a good buy if it checks out & the price is right.

Looks to be sitting a bit low ,especially the rear ,left side bonnet to wheel arch gap looks large ish .
Could be just a wierd camera trick though .
Its probably had a redarc or similar remote brake controller removed ,not that towing's by itself is a bad thing, I do it a lot and Paj enjoys it . .
