    Kumho SAT KL61

    G'day All,

    The old Paj is finally up for some new boots. I have been doing some reading and, for what I do, the Bridgestone D697 is what I have been looking at.

    I have, however, recently seen the Kumho SAT KL61 advertised. What I can't find on here is any info and experience from anyone. I am looking at them as they look slightly less chunky in the tread as we are trying to find a quiet tyre and they have the same specs as the 697.

    So, I'm hoping someone can enlighten me a little.

    Pirelli ATR Scorpion, very reasonably priced, long life and great reputation.
    P265/70R-16 $237 a tyre or LT265/75R-16 $302 a tyre on Tyresales

      I like the Pirelli, but I want an LT tyre without going up in size, so have ruled them out sadly.

        Easy fix, I had the same issue wanting LT 10ply rated tyres in standard diameter so I fitted LT245/75R-16 on my Challenger which is always at 2400kg through to 2850kg. Rims are factory 16x7, so a perfect fit.

            Another option in a mild AT tread pattern in a 10ly LT. $309 a tyre.
