Scan tool 02 nm 3.2

Hi all.

I was wondering if there are any cheap scan tools out there with live data that will talk to a nm 3.2 2002?

Don't really want to leave a mut or snap on scan tool in the car

Not for the diesel no but a free way to do it is to ground the 1st pin on the obd interface looking connection and counting the flashes on the dashboard.

It came in handy just 2 weeks ago for me when the throttle position pin came off and I had the check engine light come on when I was driving down the high way.
