Mate of mine got a quote for his 90000km service of $1900 from the local MM dealer for his NW. I advised him to try another dealer for a quote and they quoted $1150. Same service. I would suggest getting a quote from another dealer or better still, a local mechanic that knows Pajeros.
Just looking at the quote and they've quoted you for engine oil for a car with a DPF. If you have an NX with 90000km on it, does it have a DPF? DPFs have only been on NX's this year.
NW CoolSilver with things bolted on it. Some better than others

I know they need to make profit but $214 for oil, $45 for oil filter, $98 for a fuel filter?

Yeah noticed the oil for DPF. It doesn't have one

              How ridiculous.

Given that many dealerships don’t even adjust the valve train, I have no idea where all that $1900 will go. $214 for oil? Just wow.

                What a crock that is.

Check the gaskets they are charging you for that they probably won't use unless they actually do a visual inspection of the tappets that most don't bother with.

All the check this check that is just BS. You should be doing that yourself as most of it is visible. Does anyone really think the mechanic will go around with his screwdriver checking the tightness of hose clamps?

Engine oil and filter change yes. Fuel filter change yes. Transfer case and diff oil changed yes.refill Brake fluid flush yes. Coolant flush and refill yes. Auto transmission oil flush yes.

                The rest is BS.

Buy your own oil when Suoercheap, autobarn or repco are having a sale. Supercheap had 50% of some oils last week.

Totally agree with above, BYO oil and also filters. Have been doing so since my 90,000km service myself.

I you shop around you can get Air, Fuel and Oil filter kit for less what they wanted to charge for just the fuel filter

Your quote is certainly one of the most audacious I've seen. Back away slowly keeping your hand on your wallet!

                  Cheers,
                  Jim.

Dealer says they adjust valves and clean EGR. I'll probably do the fluid changes myself. I've emailed a bunch of other dealers for a quote. Will be interesting to see what they come back with. The 75,000 km service varied by about $300

Pretty simple, stay away from stealers!
I had an honest capable mechanic that I (& many friends) used for 15+ years in Glen Waverley but unfortunately they shut down recently (retired & sold workshop to developers).
Luckily though I have found another workshop close to where we live now, 2 jobs done at a good price & a large job on a friends car done at an excellent price. No negative feedback in the community.

Is that from a second dealer or from a private mechanic ?

Try this site https://www.autoguru.com.au/ you will be amazed at the different prices for your log book service.
I found this site when I was looking for a 30000k service for my NW.
