Missing Top Fan Shroud

Hi All,

Just wondering if someone could help with a photo or two so I can check something that I am not sure is correct.

Basically I just had a TJM snorkel fitted to my NW GLX-R MY13 and when I looked under the bonnet I have noticed that the shroud normally over the top of the fan is now missing. At first I thought it was removed as it may have been attached to the original air intake but after thinking for a while it seems very odd to me that a fan shroud would be completely removed and not replaced as part of the fitting kit.
Would anyone with a standard NW be able to provide a picture of the original shroud and air intake to show whether they are in fact one piece and would someone also be able to show a picture of your NW with a snorkel fitted and whether your fan has a top shroud or not please?

I have an airtek on my NW. Shrould should not be affected...see photos

Check your engine mountings. There have been reports of the fan blade removing the shroud due to the engine moving around.

Thanks for the heads up I will check that as well however it was all in place and working fine until I had the snorkel fitted and it just went missing on that day.
