    MY17 Pajero height

I imagine that if one is used to driving a small vehichle and then moves to a 1.9-m tall Pajero it will be annoying to discover that some covered car parks become no go zones.

No problems even with a 2" lift and taller tyres, if you go more than 2" to something totally over the top 4"-6" lift you may find problems.

I have a 2" lift (probably a bit less now with age of the suspension and the extra weight of a winch up front and a long range tank at the back) ) plus some Rhino Vortex crossbars on the factory rails plus some little tie down cleats projecting a few centimetres above the channel of the crossbars. I am just a smidge under 2 metres and have never had a problem with car parks that advertise 2m and over, as most are these days. But I admit I drive very, very slowly under the clearance bar, just in case.

You will have a problem in some parts of Sydney with older car parks eg, North Sydney, Darling Harbour. There are some there with 1.8m clearance only.

The lowest level (street level) entrance left side of Park Road has the 1.8 m warning. Not sure if it's the same for levels accessible via other entry points.

But if google maps street view is current enough the street level parking entry on the right side of Park Road has 2-m limit.

Just checked the Rose St (off Forest Rd) entry on StreetView and it's 2m. Phew! That entry used to be 1.8m - I remember hitting my old 1982 bubble top Starwagon going in there once.

I went to the underground carpark at the Arndale shopping centre which has a decent height limit until I tried to go in further at which point I had to reverse back up as the limit changed to 1.8m.

Other entry points to W'field H'ville parking have 2-m height limit as per google streetview.
