    6g72 spark plugs

After steam cleaning the engine (its shiny) and spending 2days trying to get it to run again, decided new plugs and leads were required. How the @#$¥ do you get the plugs out. Every link on here is broken, it just a standard 12v so no disassembly should be required? Yet every plug socket I have seem to not fit why is it so?
Over capitalized NK.I'm running out of things to add to it it died , now a SWB NJ with all the good stuff from the NK on it .

Just to Finnish this off the heads on that engine, that is now separated from the car had a 21mm hex in approximately a 22mm recess was supposed to have 16mm hex plugs fitted. Still trying to ID the engine it's a 6g72 block that's had some serious mods
