    Dreaded Bang And No Drive

I have a NM 3.5 manual and last night it lost drive. I'm pretty sure the output shaft and input to the transfer splines are toast. There are a few threads on here about this but they are pretty old. Does anyone have any newer info on the best place to buy the parts i.e gearbox main shaft and the input for the transfer case. I do have the option of a second hand unit but am worried I'm buying the same issue. Car has 220 000 on the clock far cry from my 93 with 480 000 odd Any advice and or ideas welcome.

    Cheers
    Marty

I believe you have to go genuine. But I'd be trying Amayama as the source.

Cheers Mr psproule had a look at the site very nice. Doesn't recognise my Vin though so will have to contact them direct.

Just my 2c - I know Amayama is the go-to supplier but personally I prefer partsouq.com

Last time I ordered from Amayama I thought the service was pretty poor - some parts were shown as available on the website but they then cancelled them after over a week as said couldn't get from Mitsubishi. Also, I had 3 separate orders in progress which I paid 3 lots of shipping for and they just sent me one box with far less in stamps on it than I paid. I felt pretty ripped off to be honest.

Partsouq have real-time availability shown on their website and I've always had quick dispatch and delivery within 5 days.
