    water to air intercooler kit?????

Has anyone had any experience or knowledge of pwr air to water intercoolers? I am looking to upgrade my intercooler, as I hate its low front mount, I came across one of these for sale but have no knowledge of them. I have read some reviews and opinions are varied. One concerning comment was they are prone to leaking direct into the inlet. Appreciate any input

Have a search there was someone doing a project on here with water to air. Problem is you need a pretty large unit apparently. There's a few pages of good reading on it.

why don,t you just add a water spray like the STI Subaru WRX guys use. very easy to make up this spray unit with the use of a windscreen washer bottle and pump , some water lines and spray jets plus abit of 12 volt power to a switch and thats it. hit the switch when you feel you need to cool the intercooler core. this is much safer / reliable than that other air / water thingy mentioned.

Works well apparently, but for a 4wd you need to consider dust. Dust + water= mud=blocked intercooler.
