    suspension

    Hi,

I just replaced my suspension with a lovells 2inch lift,md front and rear springs.

i am impressed and after putting it in i realized how badly sagged my old springs where.. i have gained 10cm in height all around and now she looks like a proper 4wd.. the old springs were lifted ones as well.. cause once they were out they were the same length as the new ones.

anyway while doing it i made a mistake with the left, damaged a thread and put the inner boot and cup thing in wrong. so on monday i will be ordering or looking for a new bolt.

what i need tho is new boots for the front shocks, the new lovel ones never came with new boots.. anyone know where i can get new boots? would like to get them cheaper than mm if they supply them.

    i will post pics tomorrow..

yeah but a 10cm gain, is far more than 2inchs of lift (proberbly cause the old spring/shocs were tired). and the last lift i did the rear coils were a bit longer than the original.

here is a pick of my ride with the shocks..

        I agree with Goodsy.
It is 100% feasible that old standard and new listed springs can be the same height when not installed. It is the difference in spring rate that determines how far a spring will settle down when a load is placed on it.
        Cheers, Dan.
