  • Are they also be noisier in the morning and before the joint & grease has warmed up? That can be another symptom. Mine was around 315,000km (2009 NT and they needed doing in 2020)....

  • Out of interest, did you follow up or get any advice about if it needed replacing vs just repacking?

    The grease tends to deteriorate and will cause a clicking sound. Both I and another forum member I helped experienced this at similar mileage...

  • Stay away from anything aftermarket if you go 4wding (higher load plus articulation results in bigger shaft angles.

    What’s wrong with the current ones? (Could they just be repacked?
