If you wrap some electrical tape around the base of the strut where is appears to be contacting and then check for signs of contact in a weeks time, this will confirm that the contact is actually still happening.

Looking at the problem again, we can rule steering angles out so that reduces it to 4.
I would have thought if the axles were contacting the strut body whist the wheels are turning then there would be witness marks on the axles also???

ATF condition looks ok but the level needs to be checked when the ATF is hot and when the engine is running, as per the instructions in the Owners Manual.
