Can you shift into other gears easier. It sounds as if your clutch master cylinder seals are lleaking, allowing hydraulic fluid to seep past and (hopefully) back into the reservoir, not leakng externally.

Incoming cabin air is directed either through or past a heater coil and/or an A/C coil. A flap directs air as required to the required coil. It sounds as if the flap is sticking - probably due to a buildup of crud (accumulated mud. leaves, spiders etc)....

The only thing I can think of would be the splines of the input shaft to the transfer box. Maybe to output shaft to the rear as well. As far as I am aware, everything else is the same. There are others on this forum who know much more than me…

I thought that the NT model had an Austin transmission for their autos. If that is so, as far as I can see, you should have no problems. If you have the Jatco box, as in the NS model, then you would have problems.
