    SA Day trip ? Saturday 27/3/2010 ? Morgan

    Where: Morgan Quarry and Morgan Conservation Park

    Morgan Quarry has some great 4wd?ing with tracks ranging from 2wd accessible to ?front & rear lockers and mega lift trucks only?.

    Morgan Conservation Park is on the opposite side of the river to Morgan Quarry. I have been told that there are some great sand dunes but have never explored this side of the river before.

    When: Saturday 27/3/2010

    Meeting place/time: 8:30am in Spotlight Munno Para?s carpark (this is a big carpark so we?ll be between Spotlight and the Main North Rd).

    UHF channel: 24

    Anyone interested in coming along for the day?

        I'm interested .
        I notice in my calender we are busy Sunday which would take out the overniter (bummer - maybe) But I'll check with the boss & see.
        I see its the first round of footy too, Power vs Roos @ Army Stadium Sundy.
        GeoPaj would you be camping overnight ?
        In the Caravan park or at the Conservation Park ??
        As a guide for everyone how far from Adelaide is it , about 2 hours ?
        will keep watching

          I'd love to come, but sadly up in Darwin at the time.
          Had fun last time with the guys here.

          be warned - it can be rough, I chewed out a CV joint there.

            Pajero Pete, this is just a day trip.

            It's been over a year since I've been to Morgan but according to 'Whereis.com.au' its 140km or 1 1/2 hours from Munno Para. On the last forun trip to Morgan we were back in Adelaid in time for tea.

                      I'm not necessarily out of this just yet. Mum's moving house on the Thursday - if it goes smoothly, I should be able to come & play. If she has trouble, I'll be helping her. Unfortunately, I won't know until the Friday.
                      NT Platinum. DiD Auto with 265/70R17 ST Maxx, Lift, Lockers, Lockup Mate, Low range reduction, LRA Aux tank, bull bar, winch, lots of touring stuff. Flappy paddles. MMCS is gone!

                      Project: NJ SWB. 285/75R16 ST Maxx, 2" OME suspension, 2" body lift, ARB 110, 120l tank, bullbar, scratches, no major dents. Fully engineered in SA. NW DiD & auto in place - a long way to go....

ARB Sahara bar 12000lb Tigerz11winch,Lightforce genisis ,2x stealth LED bars, rear LED reverse light, GU Patrol black wheels 32"BFGs ,custom alloy roof rack with twin awnings,, snorkel, Milford barrier, custom rear storage ,triple batteries,fridge slide,Pioneer touchscreen unit, 50L Waeco,UHF,lots of scratches down the sides, new super powerful engine!,bash plates, 3" lift,polyairs Dobinsons,extractors ,Maxtrax
