    Evakool Fridgemate 55 lt fridge

My fridge arrived yesterday and I am as pleased as punch with it. Got it off ebay form a dealer in SA. Fantastic deal on ebay you?ll find it under Evakool. Delivery was a bit tardy and I have to make up a lead but apart from that I am very happy. He also sells "Thumpers" and I'm currently tossing up whether or not to buy one of these or go for dual batteries

Ive just installed dual batteries in NS for the engel.
and I put a 60 amp cable to the back with an anderson plug on it to charge a thumper if i decide i need more power.

I admit they are a bit pricey but they look very schmick.

    cheers

My humble apologies to the ebay dealer I bought it off!! The lead was in the packaging. All I had to do was look ... properly.
I have had the evakool running all day now. It is sitting at 3.6 degrees working in all fridge mode with the baffle removed, set on '4' on the economy cycle. I'm very happy.

      Beer is nice and cold.

So mongoose you are going to run both systems!! I will have to go either dual batteries or thumper. How did you run the heavier cable down the back?
