Unidetified dashboard light

Hiya - just bought a 1984 Pajero - it didn't some with any manual, and I've been unable to find one locally, so I thought I'd ask the experts what this light that has just appeared means.

Thanks to anyone who can solve it for me!

I'm guessing some kind of transmisson problem, but the fact it's green confuses me - green normally means everything is ok - or am i getting confused?

thanks for the advice about the light means

the light just started flickering on while driving - intermitantly it stays on when its going slowly or stationary.

Now I can try and work out what's making it do that!

im guessing u have automatic locking hubs on ur front wheels somtimes with age and due to being automatic. when the light is on r the wheels harder to turn round corners etc etc if not then it could be the wireing on the transfer case if so take it to a 4x4 specialist and have him take a loom at the wires i paid like $30 when i done mine similler problem and then it was perfect again.
