Hey all ive just bought a 1992 pajero automatic. just a simple question really on how do i change into 4wd? i know on some 4x4's u have to go in reverse etc. but i am un sure on this.

while in drive simply move the tranfer lever up to 4H or 4HLC, as long as your under 100km/h you wil be able to change in 4x4 (just slacken the accelerator when you shift the lever)
Don't use 4HLC or 4LLC while on a paved road!
your 4x4 indicator lights will tell you what x mode your in if unsure
when changing into 4LLC I always stop and shift into neutral firstUPGRADING FROM THE NH TO AN NP EXCEED
