Hi People,

What are you cleaning & treating your door seals with ?

I've tried Armor All, but they seem to turn white and there's some evidence of them sticking to the other side of the door and rubbing some rubber off.
(the rear door is the worst for this)

I'm not getting much if any dust in, so there's no problem as such - i just want them in their best condition.

Is there a better way ?

I must be some sort of pedantic Pajero driving nerd or something.
Am I the only one who cleans his seals ?? :lol9[1]:

I hope I don't run into me at a party either..:nana[1]:

Personally, I would have thought armourall would be fine. I was going to do mine when a lazy day rears its head, so your not on your own. Maybe silicone oil might be a better bet. You can buy 3in1 silicone lube in a spray can.

Got told by a hire car company (wedding type) that vaseline is far better than armourall.

Armourall dries out the vinyl/plastic/rubber - but have not checked this out yet on the net

Petroleum based products no good for rubber - use 303 or Vinylex on your door seals to keep them soft and supple.

I use a sponge and some soapy water, if anything. Not usually that anal..:lol9[1]:

Never had a problem yet.

A can of spray silicone works well.
