BTW, I will be able to tune the car as well via the same programming sequence. That will preclude the use of a piggy back unit (ie chip)

Report back as soon as possible

      Keep the updates coming Robert.

Here in the UK they don't use the OBII either, they physically remove the ECU and split it.

Did they give you (or is there available) a step by step on how to remove the ECU?

I don't mind calling them to ask if you want me to.

        Cheers

No sorry Robert I didn't go in to it with him. But he did charge extra if he had to remove the ECU.

I spotted this in another thread. See you when i get back in 6 weeks Robert.

Can you delete dpf code remotely or do you have to get ecu or ecu n car
I have noticed that blocking the egr at the valve itself
              Seems to stop dpf burns

1000 ks now and no burn

I have not noticed that. How are you monitoring this?

Re your question, the ECU will need to be taken from the car. I cannot defeat the decrypting as yet to go through the OBDII like I can do for other cars. Mitsu and Nissan use Denso ECU and I can only program directly onto the board.

Monitering via scan guage cat temp use to hit
                  600 700 degrees c every 400 ks

Now it not doind it could the egr valve have some sort of presure sensor in it

There is no temp sensor that far into the manifold or along the EGR system. Were you measuring the EGR coming through??? That's bloody hot too and if combined with DPF post burn injections could have been what you are seeing.
