Removing rear air con to install towbar (NP Exceed)

    Hi,

Have picked up a genuine MM towbar for my NP exceed but on inspection, I can see that I will need to drop the rear air con box to install and tighten 2 of the towbar mounting bolts on the RHS.

Can anyone tell me if this can be done by simply removing the under car mounting screws and dropping the air con unit ~30cm, or do you also need to access and disconnect air con plumbing etc from inside the car first -presumably after removing the RH rear internal trim?

    Thanks,

    Tim

hello tc42, it fitted one to my NP exceed when I got it, all you have to do is undo the mounts of the aircon unit and there is enough movement to fit the bolts.
