changing from diesel to petrol engine

hey hey i am over trying to get my head off as a bolt is rounded off and a cant get it no matter what i try and now its stuffed, my question is will a 2.6 bolt straight up to my 2.5ltr turbo diesel gearbox and are there any other issues with doing this?
